translation of neurology book by Dr. Oliver Sacks

No, this cartoon caption is not a reference to Dr. Suess, but rather my reaction to a New York Times bestseller by a neurologist, Dr. Oliver Sacks, called The Man Who Mistook his Wife for a Hat. This is a collection of clinical studies Dr. Sacks had of various patients; for instance, the man in the title story could not recognize familiar objects like hats...or his own wife.

Because of the great reviews of this book, I read it, but I discovered I'm not really very fond of stories about bizarre or troubled people, even though their names and details are of course disguised. Perhaps it brings attention to these neurological problems, or brain misalignments, but I don't think it really helps the cause.

In any case, the title percolated through my own cartoonist misfires until I had to draw this cartoon, without any idea of what editor would find the need to publish it for his or her readers! So I really did this one for myself.
