I have a big "tool chest" - from EMDR to mindfulness - to help you meet and transform what needs healing.
I work with Highly Sensitive People and Empaths, and help navigate personal meaning, spirituality & religion. I'm gifted with trauma healing. Growing up in several cultures, I support navigating "code switching" while discovering or keeping your own center. Body issues, performing and creativity are also passions.

Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Art Therapist, Fully Trained EMDR provider
You’re trying your best to hold it all together but right now you feel exhausted, overwhelmed and stuck. You are struggling to find meaning and unsure of what to do next. You’ve done everything you “should” be doing but your life isn’t unfolding in the way that you hoped it would. You feel unmotivated, disengaged from life, unsatisfied, uninspired and inhibited. Perhaps you secretly wonder if you’re a bad person or if something is wrong with you. You’re not sure exactly why you feel this way. It doesn’t add up for you. To complicate things further, you beat yourself up for not feeling the way that you think you should.

I have received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing ( EMDR), Sensorimotor, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Based Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
I believe that choosing to engage in therapy is one of the bravest acts that one can do for themselves. It requires a person to acknowledge and confront potentially painful experiences and negative core beliefs that can have become foundational. Therapy can help to establish a healthier foundation. I strive to develop a therapeutic relationship by cultivating collaboration, encouraging vulnerability, challenging avoidance, and acknowledging how difficult all of this can be to navigate. I view myself, and the therapy space, as a container in which to foster change and I approach every client with empathy, curiosity and compassion.

EMDR and Somatic therapies tap into parts of our mind without words.
Some days, it seems like the world is on fire, and everyone expects you to just keep calm and carry on. Maybe everything actually is falling apart; either way, it’s harder and harder to plan for a future that feels so uncertain. Meanwhile, you’re trying to pin down who you are, and who you want to be. Sometimes you look around and think the world just isn’t built for you, or else living in it wouldn’t be so hard to do. But you know what? You matter. Your identity, your quirks, your needs, and your dreams are all worth exploring. Therapy can help you create a safe space, where you can find water to put out the flames.

Some common methods include EMDR, DBT, emotionally focused therapy, IFT, and brainspotting.
I have done some of my best work therapeutically with clients who have a hard time being kind to themselves. I've found that patterns of self-criticism or even self-harm often, though not always, originate in dynamics that were present at home growing up. Challenges from childhood, adolescence and young adulthood can continue to affect your daily life, including your functioning and relationships, and I'm here to help. I'm proud to work with members of the LGBTQ+ communities.

Currently offering EMDR and trauma therapies to clients.
If you’re feeling worn down by the weight of your experiences—whether it’s trauma, grief, anxiety, or that deep, hard-to-name ache—I want you to know that you’re not invisible here. Many of us walk through life holding pieces of pain that no one else sees, doing our best just to get through the day. That quiet strength is powerful, but it can also be isolating. You deserve a space where you don’t have to be “strong,” where your story is held with care, without judgment. Healing isn’t about having it all together—it’s about finding moments of safety, understanding, and connection along the way.

Theories I often use are Person-Centered, Mindfulness, TI-CBT, DBT, EMDR, Somatic, Strength- Based, Art, & Inner Child Work.
Feeling Overwhelmed? Anxious? Depressed? Like you've never quite fit in? Find yourself feeling stuck in a cycle? Perhaps a part of you knows that you are totally capable & yet have days where you just can't - that leaves you feeling defeated. I know how hard it can be to do your best and still struggle. As a neurodivergent queer therapist and a survivor, I get it and I want you to know, there still is hope. I work with folks to understand & help by providing assessments & resources within therapy. You're not alone, there are folks that care and want to help you get unstuck, feel empowered, & heal the tender parts.

I work with adults, couples, and families, drawing on evidence-based approaches like ACT, AEDP, DBT, EMDR, and ART.
As a busy professional, parent, or partner, life can feel like a blur at times, making it easy to lose sight of your values and desired life direction. This can be even more challenging for people who did not get the emotional nurturance they needed growing up. When we aren’t used to tending to our own emotions and needs—focusing instead on others and what is expected of us—we are more prone to anxiety, self-doubt, people pleasing, harsh self criticism, and self neglect. Therapy offers a safe, nonjudgmental space to understand yourself better, clarify what you need, and pursue what’s most important in your life.

EMDR Therapists

Who is EMDR for?

EMDR was initially developed as a treatment for individuals with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), for whom memories of a deeply distressing experience can be inadvertently triggered by random everyday events. The procedure has since been applied in the treatment of many other conditions. For example, it is used by some therapists to treat anxiety disorders including panic and phobias, depression, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and some personality disorders. It is suitable for adolescents and adults.

Why do people need EMDR?

People need EMDR as a way to manage distressing memories that in some way hamper the ability to function in the present. The procedure is believed to target the way memories are stored in the brain. Evidence indicates that past disturbing experiences cause ongoing distress because they were not adequately processed, and when such memories are triggered in the present, they are accompanied by all the emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations as the initial experience.

What problems does EMDR treat?

First and foremost, EMDR is intended as a treatment for PTSD, to defuse distressing memories that intrude on and impair everyday functioning. It is also often used to help those who are subject to panic attacks, phobias, and other forms of anxiety. In addition, EMDR has been used to treat individuals with depression, eating disorders, and personality disorders.

What happens in EMDR therapy?

First the therapist takes an individual’s history, and then the therapist and client decide which distressing experience(s) will be the target(s) of the exercise, delivered via a side-to-side visual stimulus requiring lateral eye movements. The client will be asked to activate thoughts, feelings, and any body sensations related to the troubling experience. The eye movements are said to reduce the emotional charge of the memory, so that the experience can then be safely discussed with the therapist and digested, minimizing its ability to trigger anxiety.
