I support individuals navigating big life transitions, struggling with getting/staying asleep, continually feeling upset/dismissed after conversations with a parent/partner, feeling low self worth and are ready to learn techniques that will help regulate their nervous system, cultivate self-compassion, and practice safely reconnecting with their whole self and heal past wounds from traumatic experiences or relationships.
I utilize several evidenced-based practices including cultivating self-compassion, insight-oriented therapy, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, Buddhist psychology, and DBT. I bring lived experience. I am trained to teach yoga and incorporate trauma treatment tools rooted in neuroscience to regulate your nervous system.
My goal as a therapist is to create a supportive, respectful and compassionate space where we work collaboratively. We are often burdened by our reactions to situations, but there is an opportunity to replace a reflex with an intentional response. Together we can work to expand that space between action and reaction so you feel aligned with your true self.
