DBT Skills Group for adults
NEW MODULE BEGINNING JAN. 23. DBT skills group for adults in Oregon via HIPAA-compliant teletherapy, Mondays 4-6pm. Insurance billed or self-pay. Initial appointment for screening/orientation needed. New members enter group at the start of next module. *Clients must be working with their own individual therapist, does not need to be DBT-trained.* This group teaches the skills of the 4 key focus areas of DBT: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Utilizing these skills, members decrease acting on problem behaviors and relying on maladaptive coping skills, thereby improving their ability to reach their individual life worth living goals.
