Therapists Beginning With O in Oregon
I am a 1.5-generation Korean American immigrant, parent, and partner. I am passionate about working with other people of color and immigrants and have been doing so for over 15 years. I understand what it’s like to grow up in environments where mental health isn’t discussed, intergenerational patterns persist, and divides across culture, language, and values can emerge. At the same time, I have deep trust in each person’s ability to move forward with intention and live in alignment with their values. Some of my personal values that show up with me as a therapist include feminism, anti-racism, and a commitment to climate justice.

No one is broken. What does it mean to be you? What are your heart’s secret longings? What are the heavy parts you carry in your body and the hopes that you have yet to speak aloud? Healing is not linear. Let us explore the winding path that is you: in the memories of your past, in your experience of the present, and in the possibilities of the future. I am a transgender-identified therapist who specializes in work with LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones. In addition, I work with trauma survivors, people who have experienced discrimination, and people in life transitions.

I do this work because I believe people can heal and live a meaningful life. No matter what you’ve been through or how stuck you feel, you are not defined by your pain, your past, or how others have treated you. You are not too broken or too much. I am here to walk alongside you as you face your suffering, strengthen your relationships, grow your self-esteem, and become empowered to build a life you are proud of. I offer a space where you can be your whole genuine self, free from judgement. Even if it feels hopeless right now, you are still deserving of healing, and a flourishing life. I work with ages 10+ !

Most of the adults I work with are high-functioning on the outside and exhausted on the inside. They've tried to figure it out on their own. Some have tried therapy before and felt like it stayed on the surface. They're not falling apart — they're carrying something that hasn't shifted no matter how hard they've tried. That's what I work on. I specialize in childhood trauma, complex PTSD, attachment wounds, and identity. I work with adults in Oregon and Florida who are ready to stop managing and start actually dealing with it.

Do anxiety, depression, or intense emotions interfere with your ability to show up fully in life? Maybe you're struggling with motivation, focus, or challenges in relationships—or perhaps you're seeking a deeper understanding of your patterns, reactions, and your inner world. Many of the struggles we face today are rooted in earlier experiences—whether from family of origin, cultural pressures, systemic inequality, or unresolved trauma. These experiences can shape how we relate to others, how we manage emotions, and how safe we feel in our own bodies.

Pretending is tiring but vulnerability can be terrifying. I work with clients carrying the weight of relentless expectations, systemic pressures, and painful experiences, including BIPOC individuals, neurodivergent clients, adoptees, and over-achieving perfectionists. I also support those navigating burnout, anxiety, depression, interpersonal stress, and the general overwhelm of life.

My passion is in connecting clients to their inner process - what is trying to happen - as demonstrated by their symptoms. Once we discover the issue and address it, the symptoms no longer need to be present. This approach is from a type of Jungian psychotherapy called Process Oriented Psychology, which holds as its premise that there is always something right about what is going on in our lives - our process. It also includes a mixture of some Taoism and Buddhism, and can include work with body symptoms, dreams, and relationships. I look forward to talking with you to see how I might help you resolve your personal issues.

My ideal clients are moms, first responders and spouses of first responders who are used to being strong for others but are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or burned out. Many are navigating postpartum challenges, the mental load of motherhood, high-stress careers, or major life transitions. They come to therapy seeking relief, support, and practical tools. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space and use CBT and real-life strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts, manage stress, and feel more grounded, in control, and like themselves again.

My clients are adults who feel stuck in patterns that aren't responding to insight alone, people carrying complex trauma, chronic illness, burnout, or co-occurring addiction and mental health challenges. Many are navigating anxiety, relationship stress, or a quiet sense that something is unresolved underneath. I also have a particular place in my practice for therapists and helping professionals doing their own deep work. They come ready to turn toward their inner experience with curiosity, and leave with greater groundedness, clarity, and connection to themselves.

We can sometimes find ourselves journeying through difficult and uncertain times; believing ourselves to be lost and without a clear direction - therapy offers an opportunity to gain tools for that journey with someone who will believe in your potential for change, and help you to witness your narrative through a more objective and empowered lens. A therapist is a mirror, enabling you to see the totality of your being, and all that has contributed to your existence - together we find ways to rearrange, change and rejoin your life.

Do you have an adept ability to flex and bend to the needs of your environment? Do you struggle to identify and prioritize your own needs? Are your goals and dreams collecting dust while you compulsively tend to those around you? Codependency often develops as a survival strategy of people who are raised in environments saturated in trauma and addiction. Useful in childhood, it leaves many feeling a complex array of emotions in their adulthood: emptiness, resentment, loneliness, and confusion. I help people to break unsatisying relational-patterns and to harness more creative control over their lives.
