Emotional and relational pain can’t be easily categorized with words like anxiety and depression. Each of us have our own stories and our pain is as unique as we are. Whether it is learning to carry the existing burden of a mental health diagnosis or exploring the sources of loneliness and worry, what helps more than labels is the ability to tell our stories in a way that is as hopeful as it is truthful. In over two decades of non-profit work I have learned to sit with people whose lives have been disrupted by trauma. As a clinician I hope to combine that empathetic human connection with evidence based practices.

Email is best...Hello! I am licensed in Oregon, NM, and Idaho. I look forward to meeting you! I believe that every individual has the capacity to heal and grow regardless of how deep the wounds, that no one is broken beyond repair. However, sometimes we find ourselves moving through life in a way that is hindering our potential or no longer serving us well, which can often be the catalyst for seeking counseling. I am dedicated to seeking out ways to educate myself in decolonizing my practice and life. I will meet you where you are and work with you to find the balance you are seeking.

I support people navigating transition, grief, identity exploration, and the layered complexities of relationships, including the one we hold with ourselves. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful site of healing. When therapy is rooted in trust, care, and collaboration, it becomes a space not just to process what’s painful, but to experience something reparative in real time. Whether you're tending to old wounds, seeking clarity, or finding your way through a transition, I’ll be here with you, curious, present, and with a steady belief in the wisdom you already hold.

You love your baby so much, but becoming a parent is also the hardest thing you've ever done in your life. You wonder if you're cut out for this, if you will ever sleep again, if you and your partner will make it through this. You wonder who you even are anymore. You want to be able to soak up every moment and you truly enjoy your baby, but intrusive thoughts, crying spells, and unexpected rage come out of nowhere. Everything has changed: your body, your marriage, your friendships, your brain, your identity. You need time and space to make sense of it all, to come up for air, to be seen and heard when you so often feel invisible.

Is this current moment in life having you confront dread, loneliness, or a level of vigilance you don't want to keep living with? You're not alone in that, and you don't have to navigate it alone. I specialize in anxiety, LGBTQ support, life transitions, & spiritual trauma. My approach is deeply relational and rooted in the belief that together we can figure this out, despite the systems that try to keep us disconnected. We can make meaning out of the big changes and move toward radical self-acceptance.

I work with people seeking to understand how their relationship with the world shapes their quality of life. We’ve all faced trauma, and we all carry a vision of who we want to become. Exploring that meaning with a therapist can be both difficult and deeply rewarding. I meet each person with compassion and curiosity, honoring how their unique experiences have shaped—and continue to shape—their truth, self-understanding, and life.

As an Asian American in California and Oregon, have you ever felt like you couldn't speak up about the dark clouds above you or how you constantly worry about the future? Were you ever blown off when trying to talk to your parents and you now have years of resentment pent up and you rarely want to talk to them now? Or you feel like you have to pretend to be "fine" yet you have so much rage inside waiting to blow up. Despite all that, you feel conflicted - empty and a bit lost because life feels lonely and you still yearn for connection.

Do you find yourself watching life from outside, longing to be part of it but unable to let anyone close? Has old pain, sometimes nameable and sometimes not, quietly shaped what you let yourself want? Many of the adults I work with arrive carrying trauma and PTSD alongside anxiety, depression or relationship pain. We work together to slowly soften that distance, at your pace, with someone who has your back.

It is within your reach to live a life that is more peaceful, grounded, and fulfilling no matter how you are feeling right now or what happened before. Maybe you feel on edge, alone, triggered all the time, spiraling between overwhelm and numb. You might feel like you cannot trust yourself or others, or are not yourself anymore. Whether you're here because of a trauma or you have had many hardships in life, it is possible to get to the other side - to feel whole, smiling more, fearing less, and finally reclaiming and returning home to yourself.
