Current openings on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon! Clients often come to me to work on issues related to perfectionism, identity, relational challenges, grief/loss and existential concerns. My approach is direct, caring, and humanistic and reflects values of collaboration, transparency, and trust. My clients often appreciate a relational approach to therapy that involves gaining insight into long held patterns and beliefs, cultivating self-compassion, and developing self-trust to make desired changes. As a clinical social worker, an understanding of the systemic nature of mental health concerns is a key part of my practice.
Using Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR, I help individuals expand their repertoire of coping skills, work through stuck points, and find grounding and clarity within their personal values. I have experience working with burnout, relational challenges, perfectionism, depression, trauma, insecure attachment, ADHD and anxiety.
