We each have our own unique life story but the one desire we share is to be happy. Too often our happiness is buried beneath traumas and unhealthy relationships.I believe that one of the most important aspects of the process of change is rooted in the working relationship between the psychotherapist and the client. There are many different methods I may use to help my clients overcome the problems they wish to address. My approach is relaxed, down to earth, honest and direct. I value authenticity in my therapeutic relationships and I have an appreciation for spirituality. I look forward to meeting you where you are.

I believe that the foundation for healing and growth in therapy is in the formation of trust and security in relationship with ourselves and others.
As your counselor, I will be a guiding support for you, as you seek to better understand how your life experiences and personal identities have impacted your understanding of yourself and this world. I approach the counseling process with the knowledge that my own identity factors will interact with yours in various ways and encourage discussion around these dynamics as they become relevant to your experience during counseling.

You don’t have to keep carrying this alone.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted trying to hold everything together, you’re not alone—and more importantly, you don’t have to figure it out by yourself anymore. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, and they’re ready for something to change.

Please know that if you send an email to a therapist, check your spam for response. I believe that healing is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest caring without judgment, and I cooperatively assist my clients in clarifying their goals for treatment. Rather than using one approach for all individuals and issues, I draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. As a therapist, I am warm, open, encouraging, and direct. I consider myself an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity, and sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach to counseling.

As a mom who has struggled in my own relationship with a bold, spirited, or deeply sensitive child (ages 8-13), I understand how heavy this can feel. When daily life is filled with power struggles, emotional outbursts, or walking on eggshells, it can affect your relationships, confidence, & sense of self. Many parents wonder if a calmer, more connected relationship is possible, one where they feel capable and their child can thrive. Today, many moms feel anxious & uncertain about supporting a child with ADHD, especially when intensity or sensitivity takes over the home. You are not alone.

I support those who are experiencing challenges in their relationships. I offer individual and relational therapy to help you feel more secure and connected in your partnerships and within yourself. If you're feeling disconnected, stuck, or anxious, we will work together to help you feel more at home with the people who matter most to you.
My approach integrates several modalities: through EFT, we explore your relational dynamics with others; with mindful self-compassion, we nurture a kinder relationship with yourself; and with EMDR, we work to reprocess past experiences and patterns that are still impacting you in the present.

The foundation of counseling is a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. My first goal is to create a safe and accepting relational space where my clients can be their true selves and explore their emotions and experiences. I tailor treatment to the needs of each client, drawing on several different approaches, including AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy). Depending on the goals of my clients, I help them process past trauma, work through difficult emotions, address anxiety, and arrive at what attitude they want to adopt towards their struggles.
