Therapists Beginning With A in Oregon
I offer anti-oppressive, queer and neurodiversity-affirming clinical supervision for Registered Associates across Oregon, including Portland, Eugene, and Corvallis. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and CADC II, and I regularly supervise clinicians working at the intersections of mental health, substance use, identity, and systems of care. While I’m not currently accepting new clients for ongoing therapy, I do provide letters for gender-affirming care.

As a therapist, I believe my first job is to witness. I aim to support a space that is safe enough for you to tell your own story, heal, and step further into your own power. I welcome open discussion of your identities, cultures, relationships, and experiences, including your experience of therapy itself, as it is happening. We’ll work to name how your experiences with structural oppression may have shaped your beliefs about yourself and how you cope. We’ll identify your strengths, and when it’s helpful, we’ll try out tools to support changes you may want to make.

Something feels off, but naming it is hard. Maybe your child is acting out or pulling away, and you’re not sure how to help. Or you’re a young adult carrying anxiety, stress, depression, or lingering trauma, trying to untangle the past from the future you want. Beneath it all is a longing to feel safe in your body, steady in your emotions, and truly accepted for who you are. Things can feel different, and it’s okay to explore what that could look like. With trauma-informed guidance, small shifts can become lasting change, one session at a time. You deserve a space where questions are welcomed and strengths are honored. Start here.

I offer a compassionate, genuine, and integrative approach to therapy that recognizes and builds upon a person’s strengths and natural capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. Many of us carry wounds from past traumas or losses that impact our ability to be present and have regulated nervous systems.
My approach is grounded in understanding how trauma impacts the nervous system and how reconnecting with your body can lead to lasting recovery. I work with clients to help them develop a deeper awareness of their internal landscape, relational patterns with themselves and others, and coping strategies.

I am a queer, neurodivergent, millennial therapist.
The people I love to work with are people who often feel left out, individuals struggling with emotion regulation, attachment issues, queer issues, and more. I often work with individuals with depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, ADHD, and teenagers/young adults in the process of developing who they are. It's important to me to partner with others based on who they are and to make space for their unique needs.

Through a non-judgmental and empathetically based therapeutic relationship, I work to provide guidance in the process of increasing self-awareness, practicing self-acceptance, and ultimately having the client self-reflect in a way that brings confidence in their continuing life choices and experiences.

I work with individuals, couples, and families weighed down by trauma, anxiety, or relationship struggles. They may feel unseen, overwhelmed, or disconnected, yet long for peace, resilience, and stronger connections. They want a safe, supportive space where they can heal, grow, and move forward with hope.

I see my job as helping you reconnect to and live from your inner truth. Do you feel you have been living in ways that feel like "not the real me"? Together we can uncover and validate what makes sense about unwanted behaviors and find the important impulse that lives underneath. I believe we each have wisdom inside that gets covered over with protective strategies, like the sun behind the clouds. I work with individuals and couples to facilitate reconnection to the heart of self and others.

Reaching out for help demonstrates inner strength and willingness to face various life challenges. As an immigrant, accessing resources and services that feel inclusive and culturally sensitive is challenging. My journey in healing as an individual, a mother, and a caring community member has sparked a desire to provide culturally sensitive care to people from all walks of life. Although many clients have experienced marginalization due to their background as an immigrant (BIPOC, MENA, AMEMSA), other clients have realized numerous privileges in their life and felt a sense of inclusion and reconciliation within the larger community.

Are you doing well, yet sensing that life could feel more manageable or fulfilling? Do you find yourself juggling many responsibilities with little time to pause, breathe, or check in with yourself?
If this resonates, you’re not alone — and I can help. Therapy is not only for times of crisis or dysfunction. Many people seek support to gain clarity, build resilience, and create more balance. My work includes somatic, nervous system–informed approaches to help you feel more grounded as we explore setting clearer boundaries, saying “no” with confidence, and saying “yes” with intention and enthusiasm.

Effective therapy provides open space to explore and understand why we think, feel and do the things we do. It is easy to become stuck in cycles of negative thinking. This often spirals to emotional distress, uncertainty, panic, fear, anger or hopelessness. If you find yourself stuck here, you are not alone and support is available. Our goal is to help you find clarity and connection by providing a compassionate space that invites you to tune into your inner values and truths, and discover where your life may be out of alignment.
