Caitlin, completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Coker College and received a M.S. in Clinical Counseling from Francis Marion University. Caitlin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A). Caitlin brings a warm inviting presence to the counseling environment. Seeking out counseling can be one of the hardest things you do, but Caitlin makes a point to help you see just how strong you really are. She works with children, teens, and adults of all backgrounds and walks of life. Caitlin uses several approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy and person-centered techniques to encourage growth and promote healing.

I approach my work with clients from a strength base and person-centered model utilizing a variety of clinical methods including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psycho-dynamic and solution-focused therapy. Welcome! I am an experienced therapist, with a passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families to help navigate a variety of issues that may lead them to seek care. My skillset is well versed in trauma informed care, anxiety, depression, and those who find themselves on the Autism Spectrum. I enjoy working with both neurotypical and neurodiverse children ages 5-17 years old.

I enjoy helping children and adolescents discover their potential and better understand and reduce the symptoms that brought them to therapy. We work collaboratively to learn new skills to apply to all areas of their lives as well as discovering a sense of peace. I work with parents to help find more effective parenting skills that lead to less anxiety, frustration, and anger about their children or their children's choices. Together, we can develop strategies to reduce household stress and work to implement these strategies in multiple personal areas.

The practice is owned by Dr. Jessica Joyce, PsyD and the practice is comprised of doctoral-level psychologists and several other master's and doctoral level licensed clinicians who provide quality mental health care. As a mental health collective, we assist members by providing therapy, assessment, counseling and more. We help our clients to connect with one of our doctors who can meet their needs and is available online or in-person. The Professionals at Therapy Corner addresses the needs of children, teens, and adults. Through talk therapy, often we find that we have coping skills we have not accessed. We help clients help themselves!! Telehealth as well as telephone counseling , Facetime, and limited home visits are now offered. Flexible scheduling provided for your convenience. Alcohol and Drug counseling is also provided.

I am currently accepting new clients for telehealth. My priority is helping you find the solution that works best for you, by listening carefully and asking the right questions before working with you to create a tailored plan to address your needs. I genuinely care about people and use a variety of modalities, theoretical perspectives, and techniques to create a strong therapeutic relationship in a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment.
