I enjoy helping children and adolescents discover their potential and better understand and reduce the symptoms that brought them to therapy. We work collaboratively to learn new skills to apply to all areas of their lives as well as discovering a sense of peace. I work with parents to help find more effective parenting skills that lead to less anxiety, frustration, and anger about their children or their children's choices. Together, we can develop strategies to reduce household stress and work to implement these strategies in multiple personal areas.
I specialize in working with children and adolescents with extensive experience in a variety of presenting problems, such as behavioral issues, ADHD, trauma, and anxiety. I work with children on the autism spectrum and have special interest in working with clients in foster care or adoption. I am TF-CBT and play therapy trained. I am also trained in EMDR.
