In my therapy practice, I have been most helpful with tweens/teens (ages 11+) and 20s/30s. My clients are teens who feel depressed (in boys it looks like anger), parents who feel like they’re child is “closing off the world,” or young adults who are looking back on their lives constantly questioning the professional or personal decisions they've made. My passion as a Sexual Addiction Therapist comes from a life-long struggle with my sexual addiction. From a very young age, I entered a highly sexualized world, including sexual abuse by five different men from age five to fourteen. All of these men played a significant and trusting role in my life. When I was eleven years old, losing my father to emphysema forced me to grow up overnight into an overcompensating perfectionist. Perfect student, perfect son, and later a perfect member of the United States Air Force created an unsustainable persona.

My focus is helping adults, and families cope with the challenges that move through our lives. I provide counseling for adults, teens and children hoping to balance life's stressors. Whether it is navigating middle school or work related stress, communicating relationship issues, or comforting overwhelmed children and teens, I can help you plan for, and cope with change.
