I believe therapy should be a safe space where you can breathe, be yourself, and know you’re being met by a real person—not a blank slate or a clipboard. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a first responder, so I know firsthand how heavy the weight of constant stress, trauma, and expectation can feel. That experience taught me how important it is to have someone who “gets it” — someone who won’t flinch when the story gets tough or dark, and who can still find moments of lightness and humor in the healing process.

Overcoming obstacles or major life changes can be extremely stressful. I understand that being your authentic self and building\maintaining strong connections are important elements of living a meaningful life. Acknowledging, understanding, and healing traumatic experiences is painful to do, especially alone. Trauma can cause anxiety, depression, hopelessness, and broken relationships.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. I believe therapy is a deeply human experience, one rooted in connection, understanding, and the courage to explore your inner world. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of your experiences at your own pace. Life can feel overwhelming at times, full of ebbs and flows that leave you feeling stuck, uncertain, or disconnected. You don’t have to navigate that alone. As your therapist my role is to walk alongside you on your journey, offering guidance, insight, and compassion, while honoring that you are the expert of your own life.

If you've ever caught yourself rehearsing what you're going to say before a hard conversation, or spiraling over a text you sent three days ago, you're probably my kind of client. I work with women in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida who look like they have it together and spend most of their energy making sure everyone around them is okay first. High standards, very little self-compassion, and a running list of things you might have said wrong.

Constantly trying to manage your thoughts and emotions just to get through the day is exhausting and frustrating. In our work together, there’s space to stop treating every thought and feeling like a problem you have to solve. I help adult individuals navigating religious trauma and faith deconstruction, OCD, and other experiences that can leave you feeling trapped in shame, self-doubt, overthinking, or disconnection. I also help couples who keep having the same painful arguments and struggle to feel close anymore.
