You can expect compassion based on 40-years experience including career and retirement counseling, LGBTQ advocacy and counseling, inpatient gero-psych, work at care facilities and work with first nations people in 3 countries will allow us to get to the issues quickly and with deep understanding.

People have the ability to make positive changes in their lives, especially if they feel understood and accepted. .

I believe the most important parts of therapy are trust and collaboration. You'll know immediately if the therapist is right for you. If you don't feel it, keep looking. Additionally, at our most vulnerable times in life, we need someone who will hold a safe space for us to approach our edges - the parts of us we tend to avoid or neglect. As a Mental Health Counselor licensed in Oregon and Washington, I work with individuals who have been through trauma and abuse and are experiencing symptoms of PTSD, anxiety or depression, as well as substance abuse that are affecting their well-being and causing relationship issues. I believe that mind, body and spirit issues contribute to anxiety, depression, mood, addictions and relationship issues. My modalities of treatment include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), LI (Lifespan Integration), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and Motivational Interviewing.

He earned a bachelor's degree from Graceland College in 1998, studying Sociology and Psychology and a Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University in 2006 studying Counseling.
