We become emotionally, relationally, and even physically stuck, reacting in ways that are ineffective at best, and often just plain counterproductive. Amy brings to therapy a number of different approaches to assist you in finding personal insight, motivation, and connection. She supports clients in the act of turning to their internal experience as a guide to forming connections, making decisions, moving through difficult experiences.

I have experience working with young children, pre-teens, teens, young adults, couples, parents, and adults. Each phase of life has its own nuances, and I love to walk alongside my clients as they navigate the difficult and unexpected circumstances that can occur. As a parent myself, I am particularly passionate about empowering parents, addressing child-parent attachment, and treating child behavioral concerns. I have also been trained in EMDR and have experience working with both complex trauma and single incident traumas.

Through my work, I hope to help those impacted by mental illness to increase their daily functioning by assisting them in processing and resolving personal, social, and emotional conflicts. I believe each person has the power to create change within themselves and that every client is deserving of support and compassion. I strive to provide the help they need and approach therapeutic interventions with a strengths-based and trauma-sensitive approach.

Comp Treatment Clinic specializes in the treatment of all problematic sexual behaviors. Our staff is dedicated to providing the highest quality and most comprehensive treatment available. We provide individual and group therapy for all problematic sexual behaviors, including problematic pornography use and are involved in regular and ongoing training in order to stay at the cutting edge of addiction and trauma treatment.
