Parents of children or teens facing attachment trauma from early neglect, loss, or instability often seek support when trust issues, mood swings, withdrawal, or constant alertness strain family bonds. Young people may feel isolated or express pain through anger or silence. They deserve kind validation, practical tools, and renewed hope. With over 10 years of experience as a St. George therapist, I specialize in child and family attachment trauma and PTSD. I use the evidence-based ARC framework to strengthen bonds and build family strengths. For first responders, I also offer EMDR.

Support that meets you where you are, not where others expect you to be. You're not alone and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Many of the clients I support are working through addiction, recovery, and major life transitions while trying to build a more stable, fulfilling life. Our clinic believes mental health care should be accessible to everyone - not a luxury reserved for those who can afford it. You may not have all of the answers right now but If you’re ready for support, I’m here to walk alongside you toward hope, healing, and meaningful change. Your future is bigger than your past.

Anxiety and depression are heavy and hard to work through alone. But you don't need to do this alone. Sometimes, we feel hopeless and worry we'll never be happy again, often overwhelmed with everyday responsibilities. Our mind races, never turning off and balance can be hard to find. Do you judge yourself unkindly? Do you compare yourself to others who seem to 'have it together' while you feel like you're falling apart? If you're experiencing any of this, it's real and overwhelming. Perhaps you feel lost and would love some direction and support- someone to talk to? You can feel better. Come find hope and peace again.

Anxiety is a profoundly human experience that can touch anyone, often during significant life changes like welcoming a new child, beginning college, losing a loved one, or starting a new job. These transitions can feel daunting, and it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed by stress. Grief, too, is a natural response to loss, and navigating these emotions can be challenging. Please know that you are not alone in this journey. I see you, and I am here to support you in developing the skills you need to heal and find peace. Together, we can work towards a brighter, more hopeful future.

I work with couples who are sad and frustrated with how hard their partnership is turning out. Each marriage or partnership is a cross cultural experience and we often forget this. Nobody marries someone from the same family, the same inside jokes, and knee jerk reactions. We have been tricked into believing that love and romance should be easy, if it's not, throw it away. This idea is not serving us, it's not serving you. Love doesn't have to be hard but it also doesn't have to be simple in order to be valuable.

Philosophy of Care: I approach the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the healing process. Life can present us with many challenges. Many of us pass through experiences that can impact our emotional stability and create struggles to connect with ourselves and with others. I work within the context of the therapeutic setting with a comprehensive approach. I utilize many of the theoretical orientations that I have learned through my years of being a healing practitioner. As a therapist, I strive to assist my clients in increasing their overall quality of life.

I work with people who appear fine to the outside world, but feel overwhelmed, lost, or disconnected on the inside. Many are navigating major life shifts, unresolved trauma, identity changes, or emotional burnout. If you’ve been feeling like a stranger to yourself or unsure how to move forward, you’re not alone. Maybe you feel stuck in old patterns, big feelings, or the “what now” of life. You’re not broken, you’re human, and healing doesn’t have to be heavy. I help clients untangle past pain, calm the emotional chaos, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and true.

Hey there! Therapy doesn’t have to be stiff or pretending you know exactly what to say. I believe therapy works best when it feels real, supportive, and actually useful. There’s no “right” way to show up: rambling, silence, tears, nervous laughter...all allowed! I specialize in trauma, which can show up as anxiety, depression, grief, and PTSD. I often work with people who struggle with self-worth, feel disconnected or rejected, or worry.

I help adults in Utah who are feeling overwhelmed by grief, the impacts of another's addiction, or by anxiety (including scrupulosity) find increased understanding, acceptance, and connection. Can you relate to any of the following? Experiencing loss and grief (in any form) can be painful, but does it feel like it's "not getting easier"? Feeling negatively impacted by someone's addiction can bring up mixed feelings. Do you have support in navigating this relationship? Unhealthy levels of perfectionism or scrupulosity (religious anxiety) can be debilitating. Do you feel like you are stuck and suffering alone?
