Dr. Jackson has a bachelors' and masters' degree in General Psychology from the University of Houston. Her Doctor of Philosophy Degree is in Clinical Adolescent Psychology from Prairie View A & M. She has been involved in clinical work for the past 21 years and a college professor for 16 years.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of presenting concerns. My areas of interest include play therapy, anxiety, depression, self-harm, self-esteem and behavioral issues. I have specialized training in play therapy, adolescent counseling, autplay therapy and parent-child relationship therapy.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. My education includes a Bachelors in Psychology from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and a Masters in Counseling from Houston Baptist University. I have experience working with teens, adults, families, and pre-teens. I am passionate about working with adults and children that have experienced loss, abuse, and neglect. I am also equipped in working with adults who are dealing with chemical dependency challenges ,anxiety, and depression. I have experience helping with anxiety, depression, autism (social/life skills), betrayal trauma, divorce, grief/ loss, body image issues, resolving adolescent behavioral concerns, and building low self-esteem. I also enjoy counseling with parents as they navigate the challenging task of parenting through the teen years. I have experience working through faith transitions as well.
