Trained in Christian marriage and family counseling - as you might expect, my practice naturally focuses on all things family. Whether I'm helping marriages rekindle their spark, discovering that ever so subtle intervention which transforms discord into family harmony, or breaking through the invisible wall of an obstinate teen or preteen - with over 35 years in the field, there's little I haven't dealt with.
I have extensive experience working with: ADHD, alcohol and drug abuse, anger management, anxiety, autistic spectrum, cheating, depression, developmental issues, excessive gaming, financial problems, grief & loss, OCD, ODD, spiritual concerns, work-related conflicts, under-achievement, and especially, family and marital issues.
I am the director of CCC, which I started in 1988. I’ve also been the director of an outpatient alcohol/drug program, the intake person for several different chemical dependency and psych hospitals. I've worked with everything from small children, to addictions, to family violence, to suicide prevention. So, I suppose my greatest strength is experience.
