I serve individual adults and couples in three areas; the beginning, middle and ending stage of marriage/relationships. I counsel client's suffering from an affair or betrayal as well as couples seeking a premarital course requirement. At every stage my client's health, well-being and overall quality of life is always affected by the relationship. Whether seeking relief from emotional pain or affirmation of a healthy relationship, my counseling can provide assistance. I have over 40 years of professional work and life experiences and education.

My name is Amanda Ibanez and I am a licensed clinical social worker with over ten years of experience. This includes various populations; those in and aging out of foster care, crisis intervention, inpatient psychiatric care, oncology care, and women’s health. I am also a part-time lecturer at Baylor University. My educational background includes a BSW from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, and an MSSW from the University of Texas at Arlington.

My hope is to offer a space for people to experience life changing therapy where mind, body, and soul meet. A safe, comfortable space that fosters an atmosphere free of judgment and shame, where growth and transformation can happen. In an ever changing, uncertain world, there is comfort in having a sure place, and an objective voice. I wish to work with you to find the greatest version of you.

I provide Christian counseling to women. I have worked with women challenged by depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, navigating life stressors, and life changing situations.

My specialty is working with children and teens with neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders. I am qualified to administer diagnostic assessments to develop a specialized treatment plan to determine various aspects of your presenting problems and needs.

My mission is to provide ethical and professional clinical services to those overcoming trauma and those struggling with identity and relationship issues. My commitment to my patients is to empower, support, and guide them on a journey of healing and growth. I employ an integrative treatment approach in order to effectively meet my client’s needs. I am licensed to practice in the state of Texas and Washington, DC, and I work with clients in person and/or using Zoom.

This program provides counseling services for children and adolescents in CPS and foster care in the Houston and surrounding areas. With emphasis on transforming at risk youth into successful, productive members of the society, it has only been natural for Ace Mental Health Services develop a service that reach youth in the community, school and in their homes. Home based services bring counseling services to young people where they can receive maximum privacy and support in their environment. The individualized attention of our program allow youth to achieve their optimal level of self-confidence and independence.

I have always had a passion for helping people, and particularly took an interest in those battling substance abuse issues. I have experience in working with adolescents, mental health, substance abuse, and veterans.
