Thank you for considering me to be a part of your mental health journey. Reaching out for help as an individual or a parent can be anxiety provoking and it is my goal to be as transparent about therapy and mental health treatment as possible to ensure you feel comfortable with choosing me to be your therapist. I have experience working with adults and teens who experience suicidal ideation and self-harm, impulsive behavior, mood swings, anger outbursts, depressive episodes, and anxiety symptoms. I'm trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and various parenting interventions. I am also a certified Sandtray Therapy provider.
I approach therapy by providing unconditional positive regard to all clients no matter where they may be on their journey to healing and utilize humor to deepen relationships and personal insight. I do my best to create a welcoming environment for clients to be themselves and talk about even what they deem to be the worst parts of who they are.
I provide individual therapy to clients 12 years old to adulthood. I also offer parent coaching to caregivers to help further the progress in the home and give support to parents who are experiencing burnout.
