My name is Megan Harris. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My approach to therapy is to offer my clients a safe space and unconditional positive regard. My areas of expertise are in attachment trauma, addiction, and grief. I have a very open communication style. I am very informal, and clients tell me that they immediately feel at ease with me. The most common theoretical approaches I use in therapy are Attachment theory, Compassionate Inquiry, and somatic theory/neuropsychology through EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

I received my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and substance abuse from Stanislaus State University and my master’s degree in Social Work from California State University Stanislaus. I also received specialized substance abuse addiction while completing my master’s degree. I was also instrumental in the leadership program bringing the Substance Abuse Program to Stanislaus State University.

Although addiction and dual-diagnosis are my areas of specialty, I work with clients struggling with any form of mental illness and suffering in life. By working with individuals, couples, and families, I help to relieve suffering and position clients to thrive in ways they never before imagined possible, such as actualizing full potential and dreams in careers, relationships, and life. Hi, my name is Alexandra, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated with my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University in 2019. Upon graduation I accepted a therapist position at an inpatient treatment center for substance use, where I had already been gaining experience hours while in my graduate program. For five years I worked with adult males struggling with substance use, providing both individual and group therapy. I decided to move into private practice in 2023 when the opportunity presented itself.
