I seek to walk alongside my clients as they find meaning in those relationships and experiences. I am considerate of the story my clients have to tell and offer a compassionate space to meet them where they are, and offer an authentic therapeutic relationship.

I strongly believe in the power and importance of the therapeutic relationship between me and my clients. There is nothing more important to me than building trust and safety so that you feel comfortable opening up about what is happening in your life. I am very laid back and use an informal style that feels much more collaborative than authoritative. I am on the journey with you!

I specialize in anxiety, trauma, & relationship issues. Anxiety doesn't have to be something you just live with - you can learn to manage it. Your trauma or abuse story may stem from chilchood abuse, neglect or attachment wounding, or perhpas your've been wounded spiritually or relationally as an adult. Improving your mental health can change your life, restore hope, heal emotional wounds, & move your life and relationships in the direction you desire. Counseling is a journey - sometimes tough, always rewarding - and I'd be honored to join you on yours. Christian counseling is an option if you prefer faith woven into counseling.

Sandra is a licensed therapist and a Christian Counselor practicing in Northern Colorado (centrally located in the Loveland, Fort Collins, and Windsor area) and CA (Telehealth only). She has been practicing psychotherapy since 2004. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Social Work Degrees with high honors from the University of Southern California. Sandra is a licensed clinical social worker in the states of California and Colorado. Her commitment to the field extends to education, as she has served as an adjunct professor at Colorado State University, School of Social Work, Master of Social Work Program.

During her undergrad she competed for the NCAA swim team, was co-president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and coached a local competitive club swimming team. She continued her education at Colorado Christian University where she received a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has a variety of experience working with all ages from young children to adults. She specializes in life transitions, fear, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and grief and loss.

Often times life throws things at us that are just too difficult to overcome on our own. It's my passion to walk alongside you to listen to your life story without judgment, assist in identifying your personal strengths, offer new perspectives, and collaborate to help you discover healthy changes leading to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. The way we think about things can often lead us astray and into a state of anxiety. We will bring attention to and change the thought processes, beliefs, and automatic thoughts that often cause much distress and anxiety. Together, we will identify solutions that work for you.

I am a Christian psychotherapist who enjoys helping people with various life issues. I aim to come alongside clients to assist with a wide range of challenges. Seeking help for the first time can be scary so I understand that the first step is a significant one. Once we get started, I help clients gain insight using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Insight-oriented therapy, Schema Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) methods. I graduated from Western Michigan University in 1996 with a degree in counseling and I join you in your efforts for improvement.

Erin received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from University of Northern Colorado and an MA in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. Before starting her own practice, she spent 8.5 years at a Christian non-profit counseling center serving a variety of populations. She also spent four years serving in a variety of leadership roles in the organization and supervising clinicians in the process of completing their licensing hours. Before joining that group practice, Erin interned at Medical Center of the Rockies, which grew her heart for healing trauma and working with medical professionals and first responders.

I am, first and foremost, a highly trained Christian Therapist. For over thirty years I have worked with couples, individuals, and families helping put an anchor back into their lives. As a Marriage and Family Therapist who is licensed in both Colorado and California, I have two Masters degrees: a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Masters of Divinity (a three-year ministerial academic training) both earned from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California that has been coined “The Princeton of the West”. I use a "systems" approach to marriage and family therapy which means I view each person as part of a whole.

My desire is to bring care and compassion into the counseling relationship. I believe there is hope in breaking free from pain and fear, ultimately bringing about a life of purpose and joy. I bring with me experience in family relationships, raising children (who are now all adults), and marriage. Life in the military also brings with it the experience of instability and change in family and relationships. I believe each person has their own story to tell and that ultimately, healing is possible.
