Our team at Psychological Services of York, LLC has a diverse background of expertise. Our highly trained experts perform neuropsychological evaluations, psycho-educational assessments, forensic evaluations, Autism assessment, and child custody evaluations. We also provide a variety of treatment modalities including but not limited to biofeedback, mindfulness strategies, family and individual psychotherapy, and executive functioning coaching. PGC Counseling is a private practice offering licensed, board certified services to adolescents and adults for the treatment of depression, bipolar and anxiety disorders as well as stress, PTSD, substance use or other mental health issues. Individual, family and couples counseling is available Monday through Saturday. We accept most major insurances as well as local and national EAP programs through your workplace. We treat all sexual orientations and religious beliefs.

I’m interested in how trauma and life transitions impact how you feel about yourself and your relationship with the world. I will work with you on trauma, self-harm, identity and self-esteem, attachment struggles, individual, family, and group relationship dynamics, domestic violence, and relational boundaries – and how these factors and mental health symptoms play out in patterns in people’s lives. Note that I offer therapy to individuals and not group or family therapy sessions.

Laurie specializes in treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as providing Individual Therapy to children, adolescents and young adults with a variety of mental health disorders. Laurie works closely with clients and their families in addressing mental health concerns. She provides treatment to individuals with a wide range of emotional, neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders including: depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, language and learning disorders, mood disorders, conduct disorders and oppositional defiant disorders.
