I often think of those I work with as fellow travelers—a term borrowed from Dr. Irvin Yalom that reflects my belief in shared humanity. It dissolves the divide between “them” (the afflicted) and “us” (the healers), reminding us that no one is immune to life’s inherent challenges. In my practice, I strive to create a space where meaningful self-discovery and personal growth can unfold. My individualized approach allows me to honor each person’s unique story, and my own lived experiences deeply inform my commitment to this work. It’s a privilege to do this work, and I do it with intention, mindfulness, and authenticity.
Specialties include marital & divorce-related concerns, grief tied to life transitions, loss & relationship challenges. With a strong foundation in family systems theory, I’m well equipped to help navigate the complexities of family relationships, couple dynamics, & unique life transitions often faced by twenty-somethings as well as mid-lifers.
In addition to the more 'traditional' services provided, I also have extensive experience in Employee Assistance & Development. I am a consultant with multiple regional & national EAP's to train & counsel. My work with law enforcement, military & first responders includes trauma based interventions for PTSD, etc. I am a long-time disruptive event expert.
