Hello, I am so glad you are here. I am excited to get to know you and your story. I will support you and provide you with the necessary skills to enhance areas of your life whether that be with the relationship you have with yourself and/or others, and to the world around you.
Experiencing a period where we realize that life is not what we wanted or expected is difficult and often overwhelming. Relationship issues, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and trauma can all lead to stress and unhappiness. My calm and open approach addresses these concerns by creating a space where you can feel safe and comfortable to speak honestly. We begin by exploring thoughts and feelings to uncover patterns of thinking and acting and better understand where they came from. This enables you to begin to accept or change them and to heal from any pain they have caused.
Are you struggling and frustrated with life problems and traditional help is not working? I offer an organic blending of traditional eastern healing practices with western psychotherapy. This work helps you deepen your connection to the answers which are already within you. I just help you "see" them, and assist you in bridging a connection between the healthy self and those parts of you that are struggling to be healthy. I call these dissonant parts. These dissonant parts can create disorder and dysfunction. We work as partners on a path towards unity, health and well-being.
Therapy offers a unique relationship in which an individual or family is able to gain support and insight to create positive and healthy changes. I feel humbled by the privilege to work with those who are motivated to seek opportunities to heal and grow. While I have a specialization in the treatment of children/adolescents and families, I enjoy working with a diverse population of clients. My utilization of a person-centered approach allows for each therapeutic relationship to be tailored to an individual, addressing issues and stressors as defined while developing a trusting and empathic partnership.
I believe you are the expert in your own life. I practice a person-centered, strength-based approach to counseling. I collaborate with you in developing a plan based on your own personal strengths to get you unstuck and moving toward achieving your goals and improving your quality of life.
Practice is Accepting New Clients! You are experiencing stress and anxiety in your day to day. Perhaps you’re struggling with your partner, friends, co-workers, boss, or parents and you’re looking to heal those relationships. Maybe you have heard the term "gaslighting," and you want to explore more of what it means to you. It can feel overwhelming and isolating working on healing from negative experiences, I get it. We may oftentimes find ourselves feeling stuck and unsure of where to go to next. I want to help you overcome that. Changing is not necessarily the answer, but rather growing into the version of you that you want to see.
