I have a doctorate degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology. I have worked within the criminal justice system since 2010. I have worked with all ages, Probation, Parole, and incarcerated juveniles and adults. My experience with these populations has allowed me exposure to all diagnostic mental health conditions, cultural backgrounds, orientations, and trauma experiences. This has allowed me efficiency in building a therapeutic rapport with my clients, which improves their success in meeting their treatment goals as the therapeutic rapport is the most important aspect in therapy.

I am an appointed Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine, and I have over 30-years of experience in providing mental health treatment. I am a board certified specialist (ABPP) in both forensic psychology and psychoanalysis and a certified Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME). Dr. Tripti Bawari is a licensed psychologist who specializes in psychological evaluations, childhood problems and parenting strategies. Along with specialization in testing she also has in-depth knowledge and training in childhood, adolescent and adult life problems and issues related to it. Her wide multicultural experiences overseas has strengthen her ability to incorporate family and cultural dynamics to current life events and challenges. She is fluent in few Indian dialects along with her proficiency in Hindi. Dr. Bawari received her doctorate in Clinical psychology from Florida Tech and completed her internship and fellowship in Clinical and Forensic Psychology.

I've been in practice since 1990, specializing in helping people who've been victims of trauma (sexual, emotional or physical abuse, assault, harassment, as well as traumatic injuries, illnesses, accidents, disasters or climate distress), in child or adulthood. I also work with people having difficulties with major life transitions, such as moving away to college or a new city; divorce or bereavement; emotional challenges in changing careers or finishing training programs; or eating/body image. Helping people break destructive or unhappy relationship patterns is another area of my work.
