I'm a counselor/psychotherapist and I specialize in three things: #1, Depth Psychology with a strong Jungian focus #2, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders and the Traumatic Recovery Process #3, Psychotherapy for Physicians, Executives and Senior leaders working through crisis. I'm certified in (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. My passion for working with people experiencing post traumatic stress came as a result of my own experiences as an EMT and Paramedic during my career in emergency medicine serving as a first responder in Arizona, California and Texas currently nearing thirty years of service.

Amanda Spencer, Psy.D, LCSW is Doctor of Psychology and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a concentration in Clinical Psychology which focuses on Rurality and Communities. Because of Dr. Amanda Spencer’s love for people, she has a diverse background and experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma and Crisis Intervention, Solution Focused, Stress Management, Mood Management, Empowerment, increasing self-worth, Mind/body and connection, and Work life/balance integration.

Eating Disorders , Addiction Recovery (SUDS) , Trauma IOPs are available here. We are not your traditional treatment center. Our Intensive Outpatient Programs and Center is owned by therapists and run by therapists. Our priority is the client and their wellness. Located on ten acres outside of Killeen, Texas, we use an integrative approach with numerous evidence-based therapies designed specifically for the individual's success. The incoming IOP client needs a higher level of care than someone attending therapy weekly. We offer 12-15 hours a week of intense treatments while the client lives at home. The family system is included.
