In my personal and professional life, I have found one thing to be true: Life can be hard. I have a passion for supporting others in resolving pain and reclaiming fullness in life. While pain is an inevitable part of the human experience, suffering is optional. I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families heal from relational and other traumas, problematic sexual behaviors, addictions, and intimacy disorders. I see men and women whose lives have spiraled out of control become desperate for help. I see brokenhearted adults and children as they learn to cope with an unstable world. My heart is to heal the broken hearted and give hope where hope was once lost.

Giving you a voice when you can't find the words is my goal as a therapist. I enjoy working with my patients to find the right form of treatment catered to their needs, but my passion is working with children, adolescents, and individuals. Hello! I am a graduate intern currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johnson University. I graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2021 with a bachelor’s in Psychology. My desire to help and care for others has made me passionate about the therapeutic relationship and counseling profession. I typically see children ages 4-10, but also see clients ages 10 and older. I focus on phase of life issues, peer relationships, emotional regulation, stress management, and much more.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am passionate about working with our community and can personally relate to how religious, childhood, relational, and societal trauma can impact sexuality and sexual orientation. With fees as low as $10 per session, we work to make talk therapy services available for everyone in the Nashville community. As a center for couples, families, and individuals, Lipscomb Family Therapy Center provides a comfortable and confidential therapy setting to discuss issues you may be struggling with. All LFTC therapist interns provide services on a sliding fee scale that runs from $10 to $50 per session based on client income. At LFTC, we welcome opportunities to work with everyone, regardless of religious or spiritual background. We believe that seeking help shows strength and a commitment to becoming a healthier person.

It's important to work through these events instead of pushing them down under. They always have a way of resurfacing in the least helpful ways and at the most inconvenient times. Together, we can sort these buried items and find a place where they can be seen, but not interfere with the path that leads us to where we desire to be.

One of the things life has taught me is to not believe everything you think because our mind can really play tricks on us. There is hope even when you think there is none. There are solutions even when you cannot see them, because you have more power than you know.

I have worked with children & families for over 20 years. Some of the areas I worked were in-home services, therapeutics foster care, crisis nursery, adoption, hospital setting & outpatient psychotherapy in the local mental health facility. I really enjoy helping my clients & I like to see them progress through the issues & symptoms they start off with. I see adults too for life issues, anxiety & loss but I specialize with children. I use play therapy to help client find fun while they are working on hard issues & building skills. I love to think outside the box & help clients move forward.
