I am a counselor licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida with over 20 years of experience working as a therapist and health coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, trauma and more. I am culturally sensitive and able to recognize and respect the beliefs, perspectives, and values of clients from various races, ethnicities and regions. My treatment modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR.

I commonly work with individuals that are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and family or relationship related difficulties. My experience is with adolescents and adults, also focusing on family dynamics as a whole. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a treatment specifically for designed to alleviate distressing memories that may be related to trauma.

It can strip away our self-worth, feelings of hope & our ability to find happiness in life. At times, we can resolve issues on our own however at other times the help from a compassionate & professionally trained therapist can make a significant difference. So long as you have "hope" & are willing to do some "work" & trust the "process" I feel confident in my ability to help you begin to feel better.

Making the choice to pursue therapy means two things: 1) you feel ready to face something you want to change or improve in your life, and 2) you realize that you don't have to do it alone. Laly is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina. She is also a Nationally Certified Master Addiction Counselor (MAC). She received her undergraduate degree in Social Work, and her graduate degrees in, Psychology and Mental Health Counseling. She holds a Doctorate degree, and is certified in Addictions, CBT, DBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Solution focused, PTSD, and TBI
