I am a graduate from the Illinois School Of Professional Psychology. I completed my training at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's Center for Pain Management (now known as the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab). I have worked in hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, and long-term care facilities. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have extensive experience treating adults and geriatrics with a wide variety of psychological issues. I treat a variety of conditions such as, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, relationship issues, and life adjustment difficulties. I am also on staff at the Amita neuroscience institute.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches with the belief that everyone's uniqueness requires an individualized approach to address his or her specific goals. In providing therapy, my goal is to establish a safe, therapeutic relationship with each client. This relationship will foster each client's ability to find their own resiliency to make the desired changes to enhance their life. I recognize change may be uncomfortable, however it is always possible.

Dr. Ellison sees adult patients (16+) for comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and has expertise not only in adults with concerns about changes in memory and/or thinking, but also in assessing younger adults for ruling out potentially undiagnosed neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD, ASD). Dr. Ellison also has some openings for virtual private-pay cognitive rehabilitation, utilizing each patient’s unique strengths to improve and remediate cognitive and as well as daily functioning, aiming to promote overall wellness and independence.

Kaitlin Blakeney's work has included supporting young adults managing major life decisions such as being new to the city, career uncertainty, managing dating stressors, setting boundaries in relationships, and increasing independence from parents. She also has worked extensively in supporting others through crisis, managing adults working on life skills and stressors, as well as those who have sustained traumatic brain injuries.
