About
** NOTE: AS OF FEB 2022 I'M ONLY ACCEPTING NEW ASSESSMENT CLIENTS ** I'm a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist who helps individuals impacted by ADHD, concussion, stroke and dementia. I offer individual therapy for ADHD (ages 18+) and neuropsychological assessments for ADHD, TBI, LD, strokes and dementia (ages 14+). Therapeutically, I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, assertiveness training and motivational interviewing (MI) approaches, within the context of an empathic and cohesive therapeutic relationship. I previously taught and published in academia for 15 years before dedicating myself fully to clinical work.
Adult ADHD, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, dementia and neuropsychological assessment are my specialties. My book "The Distracted Couple: The Impact of ADHD on Adult Relationships" was endorsed by Dr. Ned Hallowell. I've also blogged about ADHD for Psychology Today and published book chapters and peer-reviewed research journal articles on ADHD.
My training was at Fordham (PhD, clinical psychology), Yale (internship), NYU (practica), and Northwestern (postdoctoral fellowship). I'm in network for Aetna, BCBS PPO, Medicare, and Blue Choice.
