Biofeedback training is an evidence-based, short-term, mind-body therapy in which clients learn to control physical responses to stress that are often involuntary and can feel uncontrollable. During a session with Dr. Pabst, she will utilize biofeedback sensors to scientifically track in-session breath patterns, muscle tension, perspiration, and heart-rate so you can receive visual and/or auditory feedback on your physical responses. As a result, you can see your innate stress responses in real-time, learn what triggers them and ultimately have the ability to self-regulate.

Let me tell you about my vibe, I will tell you what I tell all my clients- "Im not the fluffy" therapist but I am your biggest cheerleader. I am not the therapist who will use fancy clinical terms, but instead I use totally random analogies that will probably make you laugh or even better yet, totally understand what Im talking about. I use sarcasm and humor but can reign it in and let my empath shine through. I work with many first responders and families in the community as I have a personal motivation to keep our heroes healthy. I have a direct client focused style and find major purpose in helping people find their worth!

If you’re here, chances are you’re looking for a change. Maybe you are unhappy in your relationships, or struggling with body image and food, or maybe you are stuck in what seems like a never ending cycle of depression, anxiety and hopelessness. Perhaps it feels like you can’t catch a break - or even a breath - between work or school, family and friends, responsibilities and the constant over stimulation of society. Does your head even feel connected to your body anymore? Would you recognize yourself in a crowd of people, or have you lost sight of who you are? It's okay if you've fallen down- now it's time to get back up.

Have you ever thought to yourself "I'm stuck", "I don't know what else to do", or "I just can't get out of the cycle"? You may find yourself struggling your own self-worth, with change, or the future. Uncertainty and the unknown may cause you to feel powerless or out of control, left to struggle with your identity or purpose. I want to help you rediscover the power that already exists inside, understand yourself better, and find that spark to give you back your life. When you work with me, I will value you as a whole person by honoring your experiences, background, and identity.

Therapy is a place for self-exploration and examination. Therapy can provide help for those seeking guidance to overcome struggles such as relational issues, feelings of depression or anxiety, or other issues. As a therapist, I work collaboratively with clients to identify what I call weights that are holding one down from moving forward in a healthy way. This often involves increasing self-understanding and learning skills to overcome negative emotional states. Initially, we will take the time to identify what you want to achieve from therapy. You may come across scary things like flaws and vulnerabilities that cause suffering.

Utilizing an empowering and authentic approach I assist clients in identifying core issues and learn how to express their thoughts and feelings beneath the symptoms with which they struggle. Symptom relief and permanent healing are intentional goals. Treatment goals are determined by using a collaborative approach with an aim to increase insight and implement strategies to improve functioning and satisfaction with life and relationships. I believe that my clients have everything they need inside of themselves to heal. I teach them to be a student of themselves and increase confidence and mastery over their lives.
