My name is Lindsay Del Valle, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I work with a variety of clients, using many different approaches, strategies, and techniques. I want to meet my clients where they are and follow their lead in working on the goals they want to work on. I work with clients of many different ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic backgrounds, and religious backgrounds.

Life can be challenging! I assist individuals, couples, and families in moving through difficulties and making positive changes for a more satisfying, fulfillling life. I am a bilingual/multicultural counselor with experience working with individuals with mood disorders, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, women’s issues, codependency, and family of origin dynamics and issues. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I struggled with drug and alcohol addiction at an early age. Today, I am proud to say that I have maintained sobriety since 2008. My desire to help others launched me into an academic and career path focused on helping those and their families impacted with addiction and mental health issues. I have worked in several different treatment settings, such as hospitals, residential treatment, and sober living. I utilize several different modalities and approaches to therapy to work with individuals, couples, and families. I also do interventions on those battling any addiction.

As individuals, we all have a desire to be happy, fulfilled, and complete. However, life has a way of introducing challenges and barriers to reaching our desired goals. These barriers come in the form of anxiety, depression, self-doubt, relationship issues, communication issues, and sometimes just feeling stuck. To overcome these negative life experiences, it is important to know that we are capable of overcoming them and feel supported in doing so. I believe that therapy offers a safe environment to explore why these challenges and barriers occurred in the first place and how we can feel confident in overcoming them.

Life can be difficult to navigate at times, but I believe we all possess inner strength and resiliency to address and learn coping skills to make life easier to handle. I work with teenagers and young adults on issues of independence, self esteem, depression and anxiety. I have extensive experience working with family caregivers facing illness, advance care planning, death/dying and bereavement. I work with women to enhance their ability to cope with stressors across the lifespan, including infertility, post-partum depression and empty nest challenges.
