As individuals, we all have a desire to be happy, fulfilled, and complete. However, life has a way of introducing challenges and barriers to reaching our desired goals. These barriers come in the form of anxiety, depression, self-doubt, relationship issues, communication issues, and sometimes just feeling stuck. To overcome these negative life experiences, it is important to know that we are capable of overcoming them and feel supported in doing so. I believe that therapy offers a safe environment to explore why these challenges and barriers occurred in the first place and how we can feel confident in overcoming them.
I received my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. I am able to meet individuals, couples, and families where they are, whether this is their first encounter with therapy or have pervious experience. My ability to be empathic and non bias provides a comfortable and safe space to explore the self and relationships.
As we grow and develop as individuals or within our relationships, we are bound to meet challenges. I believe that these challenges are growth opportunities to be taken advantage of instead of shied away from.
