Lauren received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Northwestern University with a specialization for children and adolescents. Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) and is clinically supervised under Meg Wilson, LCDC, LPC-S, NCC for the duration of her associate work.

I consider myself privileged, if not honored, to walk through the life journeys of my clients. I work in a collaborative and facilitative manner with those struggling in relationships, or dealing with anxiety, depression, or work/family issues to name a few. Working with couples and post-menopausal women and their individual struggles in their transitions is also something I enjoy. I believe therapy should be client-centered, goal oriented and short term in nature.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Abilene Christian University and my Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington.

She is also a registered Heal Your Life Workshop Leader and a Certified Life Coach. She has been in private practice for more than 19 years, specializing in helping adult women, men and couples.
