I consider myself privileged, if not honored, to walk through the life journeys of my clients. I work in a collaborative and facilitative manner with those struggling in relationships, or dealing with anxiety, depression, or work/family issues to name a few. Working with couples and post-menopausal women and their individual struggles in their transitions is also something I enjoy. I believe therapy should be client-centered, goal oriented and short term in nature.
My practice specializes in working with couples and individual adults, and we can work with adolescents over the age of 16. We have an ongoing processing group for Body Image Issues.
Our practice works with individuals who don't have insurance to provide a sliding fee based on ability to pay. Jan is also an LPC Supervisor and maintains a small number of recently graduated LPC interns who are ready to take on the next part of their journey. The practice believes in in-person counseling and quality of service by remaining small.
