Inner Life Adventures, LLC provides licensed psychotherapy to individuals, families, and relationships of all genders age 13 and up. I have worked for over a decade specifically with Children, Adolescents, Teens and Young Adults. I have extensive experience with working with students experiencing academic issues, the LGBTQ community, anxiety, depression, grief, defiant youth, self-harming and suicidal ideation, as well as divorced and blended families. Your child already has so much strength inside of them, together we can increase your child’s path to resiliency so they can be strong today and into the future. My goal with every patient is to instill self-understanding and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards all of life's situations.

I have had personal experience with loss and trauma, and have benefited from caring support. Whether it is anxiety, depression, trauma, changes in identity, relationship difficulties, anger, addiction, or a combination of challenges, I would like to help you through it. Our approach to therapy is humanistic, nonjudgemental, and down to earth. Client-centered and solution-focused therapies are used to help people determine and tackle their goals. We approach each individual as an already whole person with the capacity to change no matter what challenges they are experiencing.

As a counselor, my goal is to partner with you on your journey and not to dictate a pre-designed cookie-cutter approach. My style is to collaborate with you in exploring your values, goals, and needs. Together we will work on understanding what makes you unique and the best ways for you to pursue health.

Because of the hurt I have experienced in my life I have become passionate about sitting with people as they sift through the darkest parts of themselves. I received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and have received formal training in Eye Movement Desensitization/Reprocessing (EMDR) and Motivational Interviewing. I balance kindness and directness as a therapist, while incorporating my sense of humor into the relationship. I primarily work with adolescents and adults, and work with a myriad of struggles including grief, trauma, addiction, and attachment issues.
