We all share an inherent need to feel safe and seen, and I deeply value the connection I share with each of my clients. My clients are teens, families, women, and couples (LGBTQI+ welcome). I graduated from NYU and have 15 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups. Most potential clients reach out to me when struggling with self-worth, body image, disordered eating, trauma, panic, and depression. As your counselor, I focus on your counseling goals and concerns. I provide tools to help gain self-understanding, change behavior, conflict resolution, restore hope, and gain spiritual empowerment. Couples are encouraged to choose the Couples Intensive, a 6 week marriage restoration and healing course. We work to understand "Daddy Issues" and other co-dependencies, as well as grief and loss, past pain, unforgiveness and the pain of rejection. Owning our story and giving ourselves compassion for the rest of our journey is the bravest thing that we will ever do.

I work with individuals, couples and families of all ages. I specialize in PTSD, Complex/Developmental Trauma, depression/anxiety, marital issues, family generational patterns, LGBTQ, and substance abuse. I am a registered mental health provider for WPATH (World Professional Organization for Transgender Health. I provide telehealth across the Georgia, with my physical home base in Savannah. I have been voted 2018 Savannah's Best of the Best Therapist/Psychiatrist by Savannah Morning News. I am so grateful for my amazing clients.

Although change is a constant part of life, we at New Encounters Counseling Center, LLC recognize that change can be difficult and create emotional distress. The mental health clinicians at New Encounters provide individual, family, couples and group counseling services for children, adolescents and adults. Our client needs range from divorce, life management and adjustment issues to individuals with clinical diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders and addictions.

 Besides private practice, I have worked for agencies working with families, providing groups on systematic training for effective parenting, developing and implementing caregiver support groups, and running parent support groups.

This often leads to missing out on the beauty that is unfolding within their present day. It is easy for people to become consumed by their everyday lives and even easier to miss out on the simple things that bring happiness.
