I am a therapist licensed in Georgia with over 10 years of experience working as a counselor and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, marriage and divorce. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe we all have the inner tools to heal ourselves. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels.
Something’s got to change. You can feel it but you’re not sure what it is or how to do it. You’ve watched the video reels, saved the Instagram posts, read the self help books looking for “the answer”. And yet, even when you implement changes on your own, you find yourself slipping back to the same old patterns. If you feel like: you’ve hit a wall, you keep experiencing the same cycling worries, thoughts and emotions, your relationship feels stagnant, you keep having the same disagreement over and over again, it doesn’t have to be this way. You don’t have to figure it out alone, you’re not meant to.

Therapy allows you to work through your thoughts, emotions, interactions and relationships. A good therapist will support and guide you through gaining increased perspective and insight while empowering you to self assess and identify solutions and needed changes, not impress their beliefs on you. YOU are the active change agent in your journey to increased happiness and fulfillment; a good therapist just guides the way. I am happy to help whether you are seeking to find your own happiness, to improve or change relationships with others in your life, or to learn to better manage stress and emotions.

I am so glad you are here. It takes a lot of courage to take the first steps towards healing. As humans, we desire authentic connection and unconditional love. Unfortunately, these are not always easy to achieve. Together, we can explore the patterns of thoughts and behaviors as well as relationships that have shaped who you are today.
It has been said that when you heal from trauma, you heal seven generations forward and seven generations backward. Though I have had the privilege to work with people across the spectrum in terms of age, gender identity, ethnicity, and presenting problem, I am particularly passionate about working with women along their healing journeys, to increase radical self-acceptance, healthy boundary setting, and self-care. Through this work, my mission is two-fold. I aim to empower my clients to promote and uplift their own well-being, and in doing so, to perpetuate healing across generations and communities, in their wake.
I see a wide range of individuals and address different things with each one. I've worked with substance use disorders, eating disorders, co-occurring mood disorders, and have worked with all ages. Ideally I prefer to work with teens up through adults, with the exception being transgender, gender-expansive, and gender non-conforming children which I will see in family therapy.
Does this sound like you? You are used to being the helper. The “Strong One.” The one your friends and family turn to when they need help. You’re accustomed to doing it all on your own, but you’re tired of always being the strong one-the one that no one thinks to check on. It’s ok to not be ok! I help Sad, Anxious, Stressed, and Overwhelmed people identify what's not working in their lives, and learn how to make positive, long-lasting changes.
