Creating the life and relationships you want is not only possible, it can be fun, exciting, healing. Old patterns, beliefs, hurts, traumas don't have to hold you back. Heal the past and create a rich, new, and flexible present. Create a future that honors who you are and who you wish to become as an individual or as a couple or family. As you author your own life and relationships, you can create expansive opportunities and growth free from past patterns, rigid thinking, chaotic interactions, old wounds, childhood abuses, deep traumas or controlling fears and anxieties.

You’re struggling to find some motivation. Mounting pressure in your work environment. Or maybe you’re looking to assert yourself more in your relationship. Sometimes, life’s stressors can hit us hard, rendering us helpless. When this happens, we don’t always act in our best self interest. But, there are ways that we can increase our mental well-being. I believe that in order to affect change, we have to understand and explore the relationship between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Clients that I have had the pleasure of working with are hopeful of having the tools to adequately manage life’s next hiccup.

I am not what you probably think of when you imagine a therapist. I will be dressed casually. I'm not going to jot a bunch of notes while we talk, or ask you to lay on the couch (but the couch is available for laying, if you want). I'm probably going to try to make you laugh. We're going to get some work done in session, but it's not going to be as formal or awkward as you might expect from how working with a shrink is usually portrayed in movies and TV.

I center my work on the challenges that men from varied backgrounds face in living their most fulfilling lives. where therapy is concerned, I see 'man' as a starting point for any person that identifies in their own way with the word, the concept. Gender is one of our most deeply-rooted identities; creating your own definitions can be life changing. I work with men who want to connect to the people they care about, men entering different phases of their lives looking for empathy & understanding, men struggling to communicate with their partners & men investigating the values and beliefs they were taught.
