About
You’re struggling to find some motivation. Mounting pressure in your work environment. Or maybe you’re looking to assert yourself more in your relationship. Sometimes, life’s stressors can hit us hard, rendering us helpless. When this happens, we don’t always act in our best self interest. But, there are ways that we can increase our mental well-being. I believe that in order to affect change, we have to understand and explore the relationship between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Clients that I have had the pleasure of working with are hopeful of having the tools to adequately manage life’s next hiccup.
I provide online therapy, primarily (face to face sessions available by request). While I service everyone, my specialty is with minority groups (sexual minorities, racial minorities) on stressors (i.e., homophobia, coming out process, sexual orientation, race identity, gender identity and transitioning, among other issues) that may arise during counseling.
I believe that we all are equipped with our own unique set of coping skills (strengths) that we may need guidance tapping into. You will find me to be active, open, supportive yet, gently challenging while in session. Feel free to reach out to find if I may be a good for for your counseling needs.
