As a licensed clinical psychologist, I specialize in treating children, adolescents, adults, and families who present with a wide array of concerns including, but not limited to, communication and social skills, behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-harm, ADHD, academic/career stress, parenting skills, and aggression. I work with the individual client and the parents separately, as well as the family as a whole to achieve long lasting changes in both the client and families lives. I also have expertise in bariatric evaluations and treatment.

I am an educator, counselor, foster and adoptive mom, and wife to a fellow counselor. None of those labels mattered though, because when I found someone who cared and listened everything changed. FINALLY, A PLACE FOR WOMEN. I created Zusha Women’s Counseling so women could have a place where we could discuss our struggle. In the past years, we have been asked to do more but with little support. My goal as a therapist is to address that struggle and provide that environment where we can work as a team to heal. Shannon has worked in a Home for troubled youth, a Church youth counselor for over five years, as well with the elementary, teen, adult, elderly, disabled, and substance abuse populations. I specialize in Autism and ADHD, but can treat other diagnoses as well. My therapy approach is strengths-based, focusing on skill building and relationship development. Carly, my certified therapy dog, is also available to attend sessions. I offer video therapy sessions for those who would have difficulty coming to the office.
