I am passionate about breaking intergenerational trauma and helping people build peaceful families. Families can look like everything from one adult and their beloved yet temperamental Iguana, Harold, to a couple with ten children and six in-laws living in one home. The process of therapy requires the unmasking of socially condoned violence done to individuals. In therapy, the uncovering process requires digging through layers of neglect and indifference, contempt and ridicule, shame and humiliation, criticism and guilt, exploitation and manipulation. Almost without exception, each breakthrough involves breakage and releases costly feelings of outrage, hatred, and pain. The reparative process calls for understanding, acceptance, and support, along with a ritualistic observance of the symbolic meanings of the events which come to light.

Integrative Evaluations, LLC specializes in Neuropsychological Evaluations, as well as Psychoeducational (Academic) and Guardianship Evaluations. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide answers to questions surrounding one's functioning, including mental health and behavioral issues. Our Neuropsychological Evaluations are intended to assess presenting problems often associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, PTSD/trauma, OCD, traumatic brain injury, dementia, intellectual disabilities, executive dysfunction, behavioral concerns, language disorders, visual-spatial deficits, and processing difficulties, among others.

Welcome to Bridgelight Counseling! It is my hope to come along side you in your journey and assist you in reaching your goals. I started Bridgelight with the purpose of providing affordable, compassionate, and effective counseling. I grew up in Illinois, and earned my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. I have experience working in schools, community mental health centers, private practice, and ministry settings. I am committed to continue to pursue greater knowledge and deeper experience in order to better serve the hurting around me.

Elizabeth Sayles (she/her/hers) is a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience working with adolescents, young adults, parents, adoptees, and families as they navigate life's challenges. She has worked across settings with families addressing custodial issues, foster care, hospital and medical care, and outpatient psychotherapy. Elizabeth looks forward to working with people looking to make a change or simply wanting support navigating the challenges of modern life.

I have over 20 years of experience in working with children, adolescents (and their families) with behavioral challenges in the Treatment Foster System and private practice. I believe that a systemic approach to healing provides the most lasting benefits to the entire family. I also use a client centered approach to promote self-acceptance, improve self-esteem and increase confidence in relationships through positive communication skills. I believe in taking a collaborative approach with clients and using their strengths to encourage change and overcome difficulties.

Pathways Counseling Center was established in 1985 as a state certified, outpatient mental health clinic. We have several therapists that provide a variety of services for various challenges. We offer services to individual clients, their families and significant others in treatment settings that include individual, couples, and group sessions. Our mental health professionals provide services to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples to help our clients achieve emotional health and well-being.
