You're a high-functioning professional woman who holds it all together—at work, in your relationships, and in every room you walk into. But lately, it's starting to fray. You're drinking more than usual and wondering what that means. You're always on edge, exhausted, and second-guessing yourself. Maybe you've got a military background and are used to just pushing through. Or maybe you're just tired of stuffing things down and pretending it's "fine." Whether you're here for trauma, burnout, alcohol use, or something you can't quite name yet, I'm here to help you make sense of it.

I work with couples who wish to repair and strengthen their relationship. Some of the outcomes that my clients seek are improved ways of managing conflict, restoring affection and intimacy and creating greater stability in their relationship. While presenting concerns among couples seeking therapy are varied, almost all couples desire a secure love relationship that can help them face any adversity together. I hold this need central to my work with couples and help facilitate change that can be maintained over the long term.

Too often, shame makes us want to conceal our full selves. We fear we are too weird, too worthless, too much or not enough. Just asking for help can feel like an impossible obstacle. My goal is to meet you where you are, entirely without judgment, and build a space to process what might feel too difficult to tackle alone. In my practice, I support adolescents and adults of all neurotypes who struggle with trauma, internalized shame, anxiety, depression, and chronic suicidality. I also enjoy working with the “extremely online” queer community, from TTRPG nerds and fandom folks to people with therian or furry identities.

Understanding ourselves and our lives can be difficult. On the one hand, our inner critics may be so loud, self-examination is torturous. On the other, well-meaning people in our lives may be so eager to validate us that we are never quite sure we're getting a real picture of who we are. So, counseling is essentially about receiving the support to work creatively with all of this noise long enough to allow change to happen in and through you. The only way to do this to let someone get to know the real you. If we can do that, therapy can be a deeply authentic, radically human, even life-changing encounter!

I'm a clinical social worker with 11 years of experience as a therapist and 21 years as a social worker in the mental health and medical fields. I believe that healing isn't about hunting down all of your broken parts and fixing them to become someone else's definition of whole. You already are whole, so healing is about discovering, bit by bit, who you are and loving that person wholeheartedly. The journey has detours, some painful and some joyous, but eventually you will find the peace and self compassion that comes with existing as you are without apology or regret.
