Hi. My name is Nakisha Grace and I am currently under Clinical Supervision. I have been practicing as a School Counselor for 14 years in the elementary, middle, and high school sector and it is truly a joy in watching individuals reach their maximum potential as they navigate through life. My desire is to reach individuals who want to gain a fresh perspective as well as a positive outcome and my goal is to help you create the confidence to get there. Together, we will work on management techniques so that you can show up as your best self.

I believe in the healing and transformational power of therapy. My work over 40 years with individuals, couples and families has shown that we have the ability to change ourselves, our relationships, our families and the world when we commit to learning and growing. I am open to the uniqueness of each individual without judgment. I have a background in spirituality and offer that as a resource for healing, if wanted and when appropriate. I have worked with diverse populations of individuals, couples and families for 30 years--as an executive director and therapist in medical settings, in two pastoral counseling centers, and now in an independent practice. With families I am committed to helping them address the challenges of staying connected and in communication.. With individuals I seek to understand barriers to healthy intentions, the failures one feels, and I become an active ally to change one's unhappy direction..

I have been a mental health professional for almost 40 years in a variety of settings. My experience includes service in three community mental health centers in Tennessee and Arkansas, a State Hospital internship and four years as a Staff Psychologist with the Arkansas Department of Correction. I have seen clients from a wide-range of settings with a wide-range of challenging problems. My primary focus is providing assistance to those experiencing emotional disturbances which have become overwhelming to the extent of threatening, or actually damaging the quality of the person's life.
