I am a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Therapist who is also licensed as a Professional Counselor (Mental Health Service Provider) and as a Marital and Family Therapist. I have worked with diverse populations of individuals, couples and families for 30 years--as an executive director and therapist in medical settings, in two pastoral counseling centers, and now in an independent practice. With families I am committed to helping them address the challenges of staying connected and in communication.. With individuals I seek to understand barriers to healthy intentions, the failures one feels, and I become an active ally to change one's unhappy direction..
I have long served in urban settings. I now work part-time in rural Lauderdale County and see the setting as an ally for persons to retreat, to take time to feel and reflect, and to carefully choose how to heal the brokenness. For most change takes time.
Psychotherapy involves the painful process of changing and growing. It is difficult. I enjoy the diversity of human creation and celebrate the innate capacities of every individual and family. I practice a spiritually integrated psychotherapy. Coffman Farm is within one hour of most communities in West Tennessee and the Missouri Boothill.

Couples Counseling Group
The Couples Therapy Group gives an opportunity for couples to work on relational patterns, communications impasses, and experiment with positive changes. Both partners must be present. The next group will begin in October. You may save a place in the group by registering now. Participants must be vaccinated.

Open-ended Therapy & Growth Group
This is an on-going therapy and growth group for persons with a variety of personal and relational concerns, i.e., mental health, relational, or inner life experiences. Members will talk about themselves and to one another and work toward personal goals. The group has from five (5) to ten (10) members, and members may come and go. The group covenant is to be present, be open and honest, and be confidential. The group begins in January 2022 with an initial commitment of weekly participation for six (6) months.
