It is my goal to provide a safe, comfortable and relaxed environment that will allow you to share, process, understand how to regulate emotion, and learn healthier ways of coping with life stressors. During my years as a psychotherapist, I have had the pleasure of helping persons struggling with such issues as depression, anxiety, mood swings, the effects of recent and past traumas and addiction.
One of the ways I have successfully helped others is by teaching them DBT skills. DBT is a form of therapy that uses skills to help individuals regulate emotion, stop thinking in "black and white", being mindful, and improving relationships with self and others. DBT can be used in any life situation.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of social work and mental health, it is my honor to have clients sit down with me and share some of their most personal thoughts and feelings. It is my goal to help others build a life worth living.
