Our clients often identify as LGBTQIAs2+ / Queer, Non-monogamous, sex positive or sex neutral, neurodivergence, and or disabled and living within Missouri or Kansas. However, identifying in these communities is not a requirement for services through AAC. Clients often start therapy to work on goals to learn more about identities, setting boundaries with others in their lives, opening up their relationship, learning more about themselves or others gender or sexual expression. Through individual, relationship, or family counseling we work to increase healthy communication based on our values, instead of assumed social norms.

The Authentic Men’s Group (AMG) — a non profit organization devoted to making men’s mental health and personal growth a priority. AMG is passionate about creating a guilt free environment for all men. Through group coaching and by promoting 100% authenticity and self acceptance men get to know and experience that they are not alone, a good man and enough. Each coach and group is devoted to listening to not only what is said— but the truths rooted beneath those words. Those truths are then explored and applied to every day life and circumstances.

Many people experience injuries in life that do not subside with the passage of time. The residue of these injuries can result in depression, intrusive thoughts and desperate ways of coping. We can fall into patterns of being that feel too hard to change. All of this then interferes with connection to others and intimacy. One does not have to live this way. It can be different.

Negative events, unhealthy relationship patterns, self-destructive behaviors and an overall sense of feeling "stuck" can hold you back. Through customized and collaborative therapy, we will explore current issues of concern and relevant past experiences to help put the missing pieces of the puzzle back together for a happier, healthier you. The overall plan is to work together towards your goals with honesty, vulnerability and commitment.

I specialize in the treatment of couples and families experiencing parenting, communication and/or infidelity issues as well as treating adolescents and adults with ADHD/ADD. I also have specialized training in helping individuals work through pornography, sex addiction and/or gaming addiction (computer, phone and/or console based video games). I see adolescents, couples and families. I use a solutions-focused and narrative approach; using various techniques and interventions that help my clients build off of their current and past positive behaviors and thought patterns. I am also an independent Love and Logic Facilitator.

Throughout my career, I've worked with many people in difficult or painful situations. Many clients have dealt with issues like grief, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, job problems, life decisions, suicidal thoughts, and recovering from trauma. I have experience with folks who are curious or working through their gender identity, sexual orientation, fetishes, kinks, swinging, alternative sexuality, polyamory, ethical non monogamy, and lifestyle situations. I've also helped clients with out of control sexual behavior issues. I have worked with individual clients, couples clients, and polycules.

I began working in mental health at a psychiatric hospital as a Mental Health Tech, where I worked for two years while earning my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I then work at this facility for five years as an Admission's Specialist, while I completed Master of Science degrees in Psychology, and Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Doctor of Psychology. As Admission's Specialist, I worked Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 8pm-8am. This exposed me to a variety of individuals with active mental issues. I consider those times as unique and important to my education helping others.

My name is Linda Duree with Crossroads Counseling & Mediation LLC. I am passionate about assisting individuals and families in achieving a state of wellness. I have specialized training in conflict resolution to help you find a middle ground through mediation and parent coordination. I believe identity is a critical part of self-understanding and healing. For this reason, I enjoy working with folks who are looking to explore their identities which might include sexuality, gender, race, religion, physical and mental ability, and roles in society. I am cognizant that our identities shape our personal and lived experiences in the world, and this continually impacts how and what we need to heal. I approach therapy from a non-religious standpoint, but have a deep interest in how religion impacts people, including ways that it can act as a source of trauma, while also acknowledging that it can be a source of support.
