I am a clinical psychologist with over 25 years' experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Many of my clients have more than one psychological issue, such as Depression/Mood issues, ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Tourette's, Social Skill deficits, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and Relationship difficulties.

Glen earned a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, graduating with High Distinction (4.0 GPA). Formerly on staff at Ridgeview Institute in Smyrna, GA treating psychological disorders and addictions, he is a member of The American Counseling Association, The International Honor Society of Psychology and the American Association of Christian Counselors and is licensed by the State of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Glen is a life-long Cobb County resident, currently living in Acworth with his wife, teenage son and daughter.

My name is Dr. Wax David Flowers. I have over 30 years of clinical experience. I have been a member of the American Psychological Assn. since 1996. I have been a licensed clinical social worker with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology since 1997. I have written two books, Alcoholism: A Disease or not! and Happiness is Yours: You Deserve It. This book focuses on treating depression. I have treated several psychiatric patients. I am experienced in treating substance abuse, depression, family therapy, adolescent therapy, school problems, and behavioral therapy. I have done extensive work in couples therapy and improving communication.

I am an experienced and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor an Marriage and Family Therapist with over thirty years of experience. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I also supervise and train other counselors who are working towards their licensure.

I believe it is imperative that as counselors we work diligently to help clients identify, accept, and work through their limiting ideas. I believe that my personal work and advanced education combine to create a down-to-earth and genuine, love-based approach that my clients benefit from. I am confident that my clients will be clearly and concretely shown that they can change their thoughts, feelings, and behavior. I began my career path in Exercise and Sport Science and felt the need to change course to mental health when I first started working with the Autism population in Utah. Later, I received my Masters in Social Work at the University of South Carolina. My specialty areas include guiding clients to recovery from trauma, compulsive pornography and sex addiction recovery, healing betrayal trauma, and treating OCD, PTSD, and depression and anxiety.

Dr. Dennis is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Georgia and Michigan with over 20 years of experience. She is trained to assess and treat adults and children. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. She is fairly eclectic in her approach to treatment. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. She employs aspects of behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, play, client-centered and psychodynamic therapy.

Therapy is a process where people can feel emotionally safe. Therapy provides a time and place to focus upon problem solving, growing, and making changes to achieve goals. I meet with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples to address behavioral, emotional, and relational issues. I offer behavioral, emotional, and relational therapeutic interventions to assist my clients. Personal effectiveness and self awareness are important in making choices to promote positive results in life experiences of school, work, and relationships.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to work with clients on stress management, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, substance abuse/addiction, and trauma/PTSD. My therapy is typically short-term, and I collaborate with clients to find solutions to increase coping skills and minimize anxiety. As a therapist, I like to actively engage with clients.
