Currently, I specialize in working with competitive athletes and first responders; emphasizing body-centered interventions including fitness, breathwork, and nutrition. Before returning to private practice, I pioneered unique endeavors at the University of West Georgia as liaison between counseling, integrative wellness, and Division 1 athletics. Previously, I have focused on adult and adolescent personality disorders, and the utilization of psychodynamic, person-centered, mentalization-based, DBT, and play therapy modalities.

Humama Khan, PhD is a Georgia state licensed psychologist who specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Of all the therapists in the field of mental health, the Psychologist has the highest level of education and training available. Dr. Khan has received extensive training in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health concerns. She has familiarity with many different therapeutic approaches to help clients satisfy and maintain their goals. Dr. Khan works with a variety of ages (children, adolescents, and adults).
